Designated as a National Park in 1982, this archipelago is consistently ranked among the top ten dive sites in the world. The islands feature dramatic granite boulder formations, powder-white beaches fringed by turquoise waters, and some of the most diverse marine ecosystems in Southeast Asia.
Beneath the surface, an extraordinary underwater world awaits — vibrant coral gardens teeming with tropical fish, graceful manta rays, whale sharks during season, and sea turtles gliding through crystal-clear visibility that often exceeds 30 meters. Each island offers its own character: from the iconic Sailing Rock of Ko Similan to the sheltered bays of Ko Miang where hornbills call from the jungle canopy above. The park is open from October to May, making it an exclusive seasonal destination that feels untouched by time.
